The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual discs in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a monoshock. The wheelbase was 52.4 inches (1331 mm) long.

The 2015 MY AJS R7 125 is an entry-level sportbike that addresses younger riders with a taste for speed. It comes standard with features such as a stainless steel, race-derived exhaust, blacked-out, aluminum alloy wheels, LED running lights, tail lights and indicators, a full-fairing, a small windscreen, a digital instrumentation panel, black engine accents, a dual seat with passenger grab rails, dual front disc brakes and a telescopic front fork coupled to a monoshock suspension.
In the tech/engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 10 horsepower at 8500 rpm.
