The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 90° V-twin, DOHC, 8-valve. The engine featured a 11.6:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60-ZR17 55W front tire and a 160/60-ZR17 69W rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin floating discs, 300 mm Ø, 2-piston calipers in the front and a Floating disc, 230 mm Ø, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a USD telescopic fork, 41 mm Ø, fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Linkage mono shock, fully adjustable. The GT650R was fitted with a 17 L / 4.5 gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 204 kg / 450 lbs. The wheelbase was 1435 mm / 56.5 in long.
