The bike has a 1 speed automatic, 2/4WD transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 25x8-12 front tire and a 25x10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The wheelbase was 57.99 inches (1473 mm) long.

The 2005 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic TBX is an utility vehicle based on the 400 4x4 version. The TBX ditches the rear rack in favor of a loading bay, allowing more than luggage to be lorried with this ATV. Thanks to its flat bed, the 2005 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic TBX can now transport pretty much anything, including earth and construction materials, being a real workhorse around the house or farm, parks and the like.
An automatic transmission makes it easy to operate, and it also offers switchable 2WD/4WD final drive. Powerful hydraulic brakes are backed up by the Arctic Cat engine braking system for easier descending on steep slopes. Independent suspensions and a generous ground clearance make sure the 2005 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 Automatic TBX will be able to tackle pretty much any obstacle.
