A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 695.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a Automatic CVT with EBS Hi/Lo Range, Neutral, Reverse and Park transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 25x8-12 front tire and a 25x10-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Disc in the front and a Hydraulic Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-Arm while the rear was equipped with a Double A-Arm. The ALTERRA 700 was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 52.01 inches (1321 mm) long.

The Alterra 700 comes with a 695cc, liquid-cooled single cylinder with EFI. Excellent throttle response provides smooth and consistent acceleration.
