Overview[edit | edit source]

Benelli TNT Titanium

The exhilaration of riding a true racing bike is guaranteed by the exceptional equipment: carbon fairings, titanium exhaust system, totally adjustable suspensions at low and high speeds, dry clutch, forged wheels, radial brake system, an eccentric system for complete footboard adjustment. Everything needed for perfect tuning when riding the TNT Titanium on its natural terrain: the track. The elegance of this bike is also enhanced by the unique color of the fairings and frame and by the exclusive fabric seat. An important innovation in the motor: as in all of the TNT model year 2005 versions, the Titanium offers the possibility of modifying motor functions by simply pressing a lighted button on the dash support. The engine control unit can be switched between free power and controlled power for better control of the motorcycle in poor traction conditions with a decrease in fuel consumption of 10-20% depending on driving style and on the road. The free power configuration makes it possible to fully enjoy the torque features and motor power, while the controlled power configuration makes it possible to easily use the bike in the city, even on asphalt with poor traction, either alone or with a passenger, without stress. The exclusive technical aspects are also seen in the exceptional cycle: this version sports a powerful 50 mm fork completely adjustable in compression, extension and spring preload, with a hardened surface to improve the sliding qualities which contribute to making the road holding solid and precise. The back shock absorber body is in Ergal - light and unique in the world panorama; it is completely adjustable in compression - with double adjustment for high and low speeds - extension and spring preload to offer a good level of performance constancy and to make riding safe in all asphalt conditions. The attention given to the quest for lightness and performance is confirmed by the use of Marchesini rims in forged and machined aluminum alloy and the Brembo braking system which mounts a 4 piston radial caliper and a 320 mm diameter double disk at the front. As you can see, the TNT Titanium is an unprecedented, unique motorcycle with a personality that marks a change in the world motorcycle market.Benelli bikes tend to look the same so the Titanium 07 indeed share’s mechanical features with the Café Racer 1130 and, at a first glance, you won’t find radical design differences between the one and the other, but it all consists in the little things that make it special and even situate it in a class of its own. The motorcycle of today is simply the manufacturer’s idea on naked bikes (a pretty good one, by the way) while the Café Racer 1130 brings back the period when rebel riders broke their backs racing the things.

I just wanted to make it clear from the start that the Titanium 07 is not just another bike fitted with the 1131cc engine, but a new interpretation with features that would make any other bike say its prays. A revised fuel injected 1131cc liquid cooled in-line-triple with DOHC and 12 valves develops 131.3 horsepower at 9250 rpm and 117 Nm at 6,750 rpm so it is now clear that refinement never ends. Attention to details is also excellent so it will clearly stand out as one attractive ride.
