The engine was a Air cooled cooled 45° V-Twin, four stroke, pushrod actuated overhead valve, hydraulic self-adjusting lifters, 2 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate, compensated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 R17 Pirelli Strada front tire and a 180/55 R17 Pirelli Strada rear tire. Stopping was achieved via ZTL type brake, 6 piston, fixed caliper, Ø375 mm single-sided, inside out, stainless steel, floating rotor in the front and a Single Ø240 mm disc, 1 piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa Ø43 mm inverted forks compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Showa coil-over monoshock, remote underseat reservoir and adjustable compression damping, rebound damping and spring preload. The XB12XT Ulysses was fitted with a 16.7 L / 4.4 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 211 kg / 465 lbs. The wheelbase was 1369 mm / 53.9" long.
