The bike has a CVT, L / H / N / R / P transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 27 x 9 x 14 in front tire and a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 27 x 11 x 14 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a single 214 mm ventilated disc brake with hydraulic twin-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm, Motion Control shocks while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI), Motion Control shocks. The Commander 1000 Mossy Oak Hunting Edition was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 75.79 inches (1925 mm) long.
2015 Can-Am/ Brp Commander 1000 Mossy Oak Hunting Edition[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Can-AM Commander 1000 Mossy Oak Hunting Edition addresses those riders that call themselves hunters, also. It comes with a special, Mossy Oak Break-up County Camo finish, double Kolpin 6.0 Impact Gun Boots, a 2-piece full hard roof and half windshield, as well as an adjustable driver's seat and tilt steering, which were designed to take up to two hunters and their gear to remote hunting sites, in comfort and safety.
At its heart lies a 85 horsepower, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 976cc, Rotax V-twin powerhouse paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
