The Can-Am/ Brp Maverick MAX 1000R X ds Turbo was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, Rotax turbocharged V-twin ATV produced by Can-Am/ Brp in 2015.

The bike has a Quick Response System (QRS) CVT, L / H / N / R / P transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 28 x 9 x 14 in front tire and a Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 28 x 11 x 14 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic twin-piston calipers in the front and a dual 214 mm ventilated disc brakes with hydraulic single-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm, FOX 2.5 PODIUM RC2 Piggyback with dual speed compression, rebound and dual rate spring preload adjustments while the rear was equipped with a Torsional Trailing A-arms independent rear suspension (TTA) with sway bar, FOX 2.5 PODIUM RC2 Piggyback with dual speed compression, rebound, dual rate spring preload adjustments and spring crossover, bottom-out control. The Maverick MAX 1000R X ds Turbo was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 117.52 inches (2985 mm) long.

The 2015 MY Can-Am Maverick MAX 1000R X ds sports a powerful, 131 horsepower, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, Rotax turbocharged V-twin powerhouse paired to a Quick Response System (QRS) continuously variable transmission (CVT), which features a Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential. In addition, it has an Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) technology that offers a choice between a Progressive and Sport riding mode.

It has a high airflow airbox and a exclusive graphic scheme, that sets it apart from its siblings from the Maverick family. It is suitable for riders who want a gritty, agile and comfortable SxS capable of carrying four people to the most remote working sites all around the world, or for plain fun along woodland tracks or deserts during the weekend.
