The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 90° L twin cylinder, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320 mm Discs, 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 245 mm disc, 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Progressive linkage with Sachs adjustable monoshock. Aluminum swing-arm. Height-adjustable rear axle. The Monster 620 Matrix was fitted with a 15 L / 4.0 US gal / 3.3 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 177 kg / 390 lbs. The wheelbase was 1440 mm / 56.7 in long.
