It came with a 2.75 -17 front tire and a 3.00 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via drum in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The 200 Super was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank.

The 1965 Gilera 200 Super is a classic Italian machine, suitable for a wide category of riders. It has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 202cc, single cylinder powerhouse, that was mated to a four-speed manual transmission and could reach a maximum power output of 12 horsepower at 6500 rpm.
Also, it has fittings such as laced wheels, a center stand, a dual seat, a large, round headlight with a chromed nacelle, a blacked-out, steel frame, a telescopic front fork coupled to dual rear shocks as a suspension package, a drum braking system both in the front and in the rear and analogue instrumentation dials.
