The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder. The engine featured a compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/80 -17 front tire and a 130/70 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 260mm discs 2 piston caliper in the front and a 160mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 35mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Large oscillating fork, dual dampers. The Cougar 125 was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.17 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 133 kg / 293 lbs.
