The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 45° V-Twin, Twin Cam 88® vibration isolation-mounted Valves Pushrod-operated overhead valves; w/ hydraulic self-adjusting lifters; two valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 8.8:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a MT908 x 16 front tire and a MT908 x 16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 292mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 292mm disc 4 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41.3 mm telescopic while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks, Air-adjustable. The FLHP Road King Police was fitted with a 18 9 Liters / 5.0 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 327 Kg / 721 lbs. The wheelbase was 1613 mm / 63.5 in long.
