The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet multiplate hydraulic clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17M/C 54H front tire and a 140/70-17M/C 66H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc, 276 mm in the front and a Drum, 130 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock. The CB300R (Brazilian model) was fitted with a 18 Liters / 4.8 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just CB 300R: 146 kg / 322 lbs CB 300RA: 149 kg / 329 lbs. The wheelbase was 1402 mm / 55.2 in long.
