The Honda CB500FA ABS was a liquid-cooled parallel-twin Naked motorcycle produced by Honda between 2013 and 2014.

A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 500.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR-17M/C front tire and a 160/60ZR-17M/C rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin-piston caliper with single 320mm wave disc, ABS in the front and a Single-caliper 240mm wave disc, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm fork; 4.3 inches travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link single shock with nine-position spring preload adjustability; 4.7 inches travel. The wheelbase was 55.51 inches (1410 mm) long.
2013 Honda CB500FA ABS[edit | edit source]
Honda is offering an ABS-equipped version of the CB500F, called the CB500FA ABS. It retains all the characteristics of the base model, but comes with a small extra bulk of the ABS modulator. However, since we're talking a several pounds difference, it will not impact the way the bike feels or handles, especially as the modulator is mounted centrally.
Light and nimble, this economical bike is also punchy and fun, providing great fun in the cross-town traffic and why not, on the track, as well.
2014 Honda CB500FA ABS[edit | edit source]
Even though some might say that the 2013 CB500F is not exactly a menacing bike, being of the safe side of life is always a good thing. So Honda is offering the 2013 CB500FA ABS, a bike with upgraded safety features, destined to bring more peace of mind to riders who value some backup technology for their trips.
The ABS version is only available in Black for this model year, so you'll have to decide between anti-locking brakes and the Pearl White livery. Honda also has a wide range of optional accessories for the 2013 CB500FA ABS, adding to both the practical and aesthetic sides.
