The CBR500RA ABS is the better-equipped version of the 2013 CBR500R, at least when it comes to safety. Anti-locking brakes provide a shorter stopping distance on dry roads, while also minimizing the skid effect when braking hard on less-than-ideal surfaces, such as wet asphalt or concrete, dusty roads and more.

On the technical side, the 2013 CBR500RA ABS is identical to its sibling, and only weighs several pounds more, because of the ABS modulator. Perfect as a semi-naked bike for newer riders and a great economical commuter and fun bike for more seasoned ones, this machine represents the new Honda middleweight all-rounder generation.
