The Honda RVT1000F Firestorm was a liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin, 4-stroke DOHC Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda between 2000 and 2001.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed, manual, close ratio transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR-17 front tire and a 180/55ZR-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 296mm floating discs with four piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc with single-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm cartridge fork, adjustable for preload and rebound damping, 109mm travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link single shock with preload and rebound damping adjustability, 124mm travel. The RVT1000F Firestorm was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 56.3 inches (1430 mm) long.
2000 Honda RVT1000F Firestorm[edit | edit source]
A street-focused version of the RC51, the 1999 RVT1000F Firestorm is a sweet sport bike featuring highly-advanced technologies derived straight from the race track. This machine was developed for those in search of adrenaline-fueled rides , but who wanted something different from the humming of the in-line 4 CBRs.
Powered by a mighty v-twin, the RVT1000F Firestorm also provides top-notch handling at both high and low speed, this solo machine also offers convenient cable and u-lock storage in the rear cowl.
2001 Honda RVT1000F Firestorm[edit | edit source]
The 2001 is one of the elite liter-class v-twin superbikes, a muscular machines engineered for riding hard and fast, with excellent street-level handling and exhilarating on-track performance. 2001 brings 3 extra liters of fuel, new, higher clip-on bars, revised carburetion and ignition for more reposniveness.
At the same time, new Dark Metallic Blue and Pearl Yellow colors are now available, with redesigned indicators and a new, lightweight dash. And even the battery is now smaller and lighter.
