The Honda ST1300A ABS was a liquid-cooled longitudinally mounted 90° V-4, DOHC; four valves per cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Honda in 2009.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1261.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70ZR-18 front tire and a 170/60ZR-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual full-floating 310mm discs with CBS three-piston calipers, ABS in the front and a Single 316mm disc with CBS three-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm HMAS cartridge fork; 4.6 inches travel while the rear was equipped with a HMAS gas-charged single shock with five-position spring-preload adjustability; 4.8 inches travel. The wheelbase was 58.7 inches (1491 mm) long.

2009 Honda ST1300A ABS[edit | edit source]

Honda offer an ABS-equipped version of their acclaimed middleweight touring machine, codenamed ST1300A ABS. Needless to say, this version brings about the very best in braking technology Honda has to offer: the added stability on slippery, difficult surfaces plus the smart stopping power distribution provided by the combined braking system.

With stopping safety taken to the max safety level, riders are left to enjoy as much as possible form their trips. Powerful and maneuverable, with ergonomics focused on long-ride comfort, the 2008 ST1300A ABS is a great choice for both daily commuting and long journeys.
