A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 450.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Multi-plate manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 22x7-10 front tire and a 20x10-9 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic 174mm discs with twin-piston calipers in the front and a Single hydraulic 190mm disc with single-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Independent double-wishbone with Showa shocks, featuring adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping; 8.4-inch travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro-Link with single Showa shock featuring adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping; 9.3-inch travel. The wheelbase was 50.2 inches (1275 mm) long.

The 2008 Honda TRX450ER is the electric start iteration of the initial TRX450R MX machine. Just like its sibling, the 2008 TRX450ER boasts untamed aggression and sports exceptional handling and reliability even on the roughest terrains. At the heart of this quad beats a CRF450X racing engine which has been optimized for use with ATVs, while the race-inspired frame rolls on Showa shocks for top-drawer performance.
With a heavy-duty clutch mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the 2008 Honda TRX450ER makes sure the power delivery is always in the optimal range, while the race-specced aluminum caliper brakes make sure this quad also provides the needed stopping power for any riding style.
