The Husqvarna CR 50 was a liquid-cooled, 2-stroke, single cylinder Enduro motorcycle produced by Husqvarna between 2010 and 2012.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a single-speed, adjustable transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, dual clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 60/100-12 36M front tire and a 2.75-10 37 J NHS rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 160 mm disc in the front and a single 140 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 32 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs progressive Soft Damp monoshock. The wheelbase was 39.21 inches (996 mm) long.

The 2010 MY Husqvarna CR 50 is suitable for the youngest among off-road enthusiasts, thanks to its small but gritty, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump paired to a five-speed manual transmission. As many of the Huskey 2010 MY's, it comes with new plastics and IPD, a new silencer, a revised frame, as well as a shorter swing arm, for improved traction and handling. Other features, such as the race-derived Brembo braking system only add to the desirability of this machine.

The 2011 MY Husqvarna CR 50 sports a liquid-cooled four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder engine paired to a single-speed, dual clutch transmission, with two selectable riding modes, novice or experienced. In addition, this small machine that addresses the youngest among riders out there comes with an inverted front fork, and a fully adjustable rear monoshock, which increase its agility and make for a more comfortable machine.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder engine paired to a single gear transmission, with two configurations for novice and more experienced riders. In addition, it comes standard with an upside-down fork, front and rear disc brakes, an adjustable dual clutch transmission, a radial front brake master cylinder and an adjustable rear shock absorber.
