The Husqvarna SMR630 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Husqvarna between 2004 and 2013.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 100.0mm bore x 76.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 600.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate type, hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. floating disc with hydraulic control and radial caliper in the front and a single disc. floating disc with hydraulic control and floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi usd telescopic hydraulic fork with advanced axle, rebound stroke adjustment while the rear was equipped with a sachs progressive soft damp type with single hydraulic shock absorber, spring pre-load adjustment. compression and rebound adjustment (compression stroke - double adjustment). The SMR630 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 332.9 pounds (151.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.86 inches (1495 mm) long.

The 2011 MY Husqvarna SMR 630 is the most powerful machine in the SMR family, thanks to its liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 600cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission. It comes standard with a 45 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork and a Sachs progressive Soft Damp rear monoshock, which increase its cornering abilities, making it one of the most sought after Huskeys. In addition, it has a Brembo high-end braking system, which increases overall performance and makes for a safer machine.

The 2012 MY Husqvarna SMR 630 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 600cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It boasts a revised body work, with a new rear mudguard, an LED tail light and a new licence plate holder, as well as a new graphic scheme, which makes for a more aggressive machine. It also has a more modern, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), which boosts performance and makes for a more environmental-friendly machine.

Other features worth mentioning would be the race-derived suspension and braking system, which not only increase agility and performance, but also make for a more safe and comfortable machine.
