The Husqvarna TE449 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Husqvarna between 2011 and 2013.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the multi plate, hydraulic operation.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave disc. in the front and a single disc. wave disc. in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm kayaba usd while the rear was equipped with a cts with kayaba multi adjustable shock. The TE449 was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 249.12 pounds (113.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.27 inches (1480 mm) long.

The 2010 MY Husqvarna TE 449 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six speed manual transmission, and is one of the most powerful off-road machines in its class. Its fuel tank is located under the seat, which lowers its center of gravity, and makes for a more stable two-wheeler. In addition, the 2010 MY comes with improvements, such as new IPD's, a more powerful headlight, a new rear mudguard with integrated number plate, a new silencer and a new Sachs rear shock absorber.

The 2012 MY Husqvarna TE 449 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it has all sorts of race-derived parts, which make it one of the most sought after single cylinder machines available on the market. It comes standard with a Brembo hydraulic clutch, a Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection, a coaxial traction system, a new, raised rear linkage, a new twin section under-seat fuel tank, as long as a redesigned seat, which makes for a more comfortable machine.
