The engine was a Air cooled cooled Single cylinder, 2 stroke. The engine featured a 7.2:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-10 front tire and a 90/90-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single slotted disc, 2 piston caliper in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Mono shock, adjustable. The Super 850 was fitted with a 5 L / 1.3 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 106 kg / 233 lbs. The wheelbase was 1339 mm / 52.7 in long.
