Engine

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 -15 front tire and a 150/70 -14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 260 mm discs with dual piston calipers in the front and a Single 240 mm disc with single piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic 40mm telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Hydraulic adjustable shock. The Xciting 500Ri was fitted with a 12.8 Liters / 3.4 US gal fuel tank.
