The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin cylinders, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.7:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple discs, cable operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x discs in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 38mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm, single shock adjustable for spring preload. The GPX400R was fitted with a 16 Liters / 3.9 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 177 kg / 390 lbs.
