The Kawasaki GPZ 400S was a Liquid cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 1985. Max torque was 25.82 ft/lbs (35.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 50.02 HP (37.3 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.7:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet multi disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-16 front tire and a 120/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Single drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swing arm. The GPz400S was fitted with a 15 Liters / 3.9 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 169 kg / 372.5 lbs.
