The Kawasaki KFX90 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Kawasaki between 2009 and 2017.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 47.0mm bore x 51.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 89.0 cubic centimeters.

It came with a 18/7-8 front tire and a 18/9-8 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake). dual mechanical drums in the front and a single disc. hydraulic. in the rear. The front suspension was a single a-arm with twin shock absorbers / 2.8 in. while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with single shock absorber / 2.9 in.. The KFX90 was fitted with a 1.5 Gallon (5.68 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 870.16 pounds (394.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 37.99 inches (965 mm) long.
2009 Kawasaki KFX 90[edit | edit source]
The 2009 MY KFX 90 is a step up from the entry-point 67cc version, but this quad retains the safety features and the non-intimidating character of its smaller sibling. As your kids grow, so do Kawasaki ATVs, and the KFX 90 is the perfect machine for riders aged 12 and older. Adults can use the same safety-focused features to make sure the kids won't use the ATV in other ways than intended. This means keyed ignition, throttle and speed limiter, easily adjustable by supervising adults.
KFX 90 arrives with a CVT transmission which can also be used as an engine brake in certain condition. The front suspensions are using drums, while stopping power in the rear comes from a hydraulic disc.

The 2010 MY KFX 90 is an ATV deddicated to riders aged 12 and older, so it is the next step up from the entry-point mini-quads. Wide and with large tires, the KFX 90 boasts great stability, while the full floorboards boost confidence and allows riders to gradually push their limits.
Power comes from the 89cc air-cooled single, mated to a single-speed CVT transmission, while safety features have not been overlooked, either. Alongside keyed ignition, the KFX 90 also comes with a screw throttle-limiter and a CVT collar that can be removed for increased speed as experience is gained.

This fully-automatic ATV introduces big-machine styling and a convenient, easy-to-use automatic transmission which will allow the youngsters to focus on riding and balancing, instead of shifting.
This machine comes with keyed ignition, screw-type throttle control and CVT speed limiter for enhanced safety. Adults can remove the limitations as riders build up experience. With a convenient electric starter, the KFX90 ATV is easy to start while also having a kickstarter available as a back up. It features a wide stance for greater stability and handling, as well as two front drum brakes and a rear disc brake, which are both activated by handlebar-mounted brake levers. The KFX90 also has full floorboards for secure foot placement, as well as a tail light to help other riders spot the vehicle when it is in use.
