The Kawasaki KFX90 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Kawasaki between 2009 and 2017.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 47.0mm bore x 51.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 89.0 cubic centimeters.

The 2009 MY KFX 90 is a step up from the entry-point 67cc version, but this quad retains the safety features and the non-intimidating character of its smaller sibling. As your kids grow, so do Kawasaki ATVs, and the KFX 90 is the perfect machine for riders aged 12 and older. Adults can use the same safety-focused features to make sure the kids won't use the ATV in other ways than intended. This means keyed ignition, throttle and speed limiter, easily adjustable by supervising adults.


KFX 90 arrives with a CVT transmission which can also be used as an engine brake in certain condition. The front suspensions are using drums, while stopping power in the rear comes from a hydraulic disc.

Power comes from the 89cc air-cooled single, mated to a single-speed CVT transmission, while safety features have not been overlooked, either. Alongside keyed ignition, the KFX 90 also comes with a screw throttle-limiter and a CVT collar that can be removed for increased speed as experience is gained.
