The Kawasaki Bayou 250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke ATV produced by Kawasaki between 2005 and 2012.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 61.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 228.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 21/8-9 front tire and a 22/10-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a sealed multidisc in the rear. The front suspension was a single a-arm, independent / 4.5 in. while the rear was equipped with a semi-independent quad-link with dual shocks / 4.9 in.. The Bayou 250 was fitted with a 2.6 Gallon (9.84 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 425.49 pounds (193.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 43.9 inches (1115 mm) long.
