The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve. The engine featured a 9.5:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet mDouble disk, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 120/80-147 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 240mm disc 2 piston caliper in the front and a Single 190mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 35 mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a New Uni-Trak. The KLX125 D-Tracker was fitted with a 7.0 Liters / 1.9 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 114 kg / 251.3 lbs. The wheelbase was 1255 mm / 49.4 in long.

The Kawasaki D-Tracker 125 is all kinds of business; it comes with a big-bike style FI system with a separate injector and throttle body. With this type of system, the D-Tracker 125 is able to lessen the chance of air ingestion to make it perfect for the sports riding. On top of that, the bike has chassis components that has been specifically prepared for the 125 cm³ class. The D-Tracker 125 also has advanced proportions that adds a positive value to its sharp appearance.
