The Kawasaki KZ 700-A1 was a in-line four, four-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki in 1984.

The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 64.0mm bore x 54.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 694.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-19-57h front tire and a 120/90-18-65h rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. 1-piston calipers in the front and a single disc. 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a air-adjustable telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks with adjustable preload and damping.
