The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 10.2:1 compression ratio.

It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 140/90-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 300mm disc in the front and a 180mm drum in the rear.
