It came with a 3.50-10 front tire and a 3.50-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via disc in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks.

The 1996 MY Kymco Heroism 150 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 147cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), that produces a claimed 11 horsepower at 7500 rpm. It has a telescopic fork mated to a rear dual shock absorber suspension package, a single brake disc in the front, a rear luggage rack, pillion grab handles and a large windshield as standard features.
