Engine

The engine was a Cooling with separated liquid and oil radiators cooled Four stroke, transverse three cylinder. DOHC, 4 Valve per cylinder,. The engine featured a 13.3:1 compression ratio.

Drive

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi plate with slipper clutch.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70- ZR 17 M/C (58 W) front tire and a 200/50- ZR 17 M/C (75 W)FAIRING Material Thermoplastic rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm floating discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi “UPSIDE DOWN” telescopic hydraulic fork in DLC treated aluminum, with red color anodized fork legs and having rebound compression damping and spring preload external and separate adjustment - Fork dia. 43 mm while the rear was equipped with a Progressive Sachs, single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment - Single sided swing arm material Aluminum alloy. The Dragster 800RR Lewis Hamilton Limited Edition was fitted with a 16.6 Liters / US 4.3 gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 168 Kg / 370.4 lbs. The wheelbase was 1380 mm / 54.3 in long.

MV Agusta Dragster 800RR Lewis Hamilton Limited Edition

MV Agusta has teamed up with 2x Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton to release a stunning new version of the Dragster RR motorcycle.

Working closely with the MV Agusta CRC (Castiglioni Research Center) design team, Lewis ensured that bike specifications and performance perfectly matched his requirements. The creation of the Dragster RR bike comprised of an on-going collaborative process between the F1 World Champion and the MV Agusta Team, from concept to hand assembled production.

Giovanni Castiglioni, President and CEO of MV Agusta, said: “We are proud to be partnering with a passionate racer like Lewis Hamilton. It is great news for us and for everyone around the world that loves MV Agusta”.

There are no technical changes over the standard Dragster RR, but MV says the LH44 has received over 50 design details to make it stand out from the standard Dragster RR. It’s dripping in Ergal (an aluminum-zinc alloy) and carbon-fibre, which has been given a 3k opaque finish. The seat is also trimmed with quilted alcantara. The Dragster RR LH44’s defining colors are red and white, it gets red wheels, plus a red trellis frame and matching engine protectors. The bike also carries some additional graphics inspired by Lewis Hamilton’s helmet and his race number - 44. Only a  limited of 244 bikes will be build.
