The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Single cylinder, two stroke.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multidisc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-17 in front tire and a 160/60-17 in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc, 320 mm, 4-piston calipers in the front and a Single disc, 220 mm, 1-piton calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a White Power Extreme 50 while the rear was equipped with a Maico twin link WP. The Supermoto Special Edition 685 was fitted with a 9.5 L / 2.5 US gal fuel tank.
