Overview[edit | edit source]
Moto Guzzi V11 Le Mans Nero Corsa
V11 Le Mans Nero Corsa --Sport Touring redefined. The latest 90º V-Twin with added crossover pipe and increased compression ratio to 9.8:1. Brembo Gold Series brakes and Öhlins suspension. Strikingly rich checkered flag graphics in Midnight Black and Dark Silver with carbon fiber front fender. Add optional Moto Guzzi soft side bags and tank bag and you've got a comfortable Sport Touring Bike that will get you to your favorite track day in style. A bike with the chequered flag at heart
Here is a bike for the connoisseur, to be savoured like a fine wine, mile after mile. Every pulse of its new engine is a pulse of pleasure. The frame guarantees dependable, instant and precise handling. The half fairing provides ample rider protection. The chassis delivers the sort of ride the others can only envy. The new black and white chequered motif amid the traditional Moto Guzzi red, is an obvious reference to Moto Guzzis race winning history. It also clearly states how, at Mandello del Lario, leadership on the road comes directly from success on the track, and embodies all the character, experience and creativity of Italian motorcycling.
Respect for a winning tradition and continuous research and innovation go
hand in hand in this classical 1,064cc 90°V-Twin engine with two valves per
cylinder and push-rod valve timing. But that is where tradition ends,
because the power unit of the 2003 V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa has a new,
higher compression ratio, a special balancer pipe linking the exhaust
down-pipes and a brand new catalyser conforming to Euro 2 standards. All
this means meatier, more consistent power and torque at low and medium revs
as well as absolute respect for the environment.
The chassis is new too. The 43mm ? Öhlins front fork and Öhlins rear shock guarantee razor sharp handling on bends as well as real touring comfort for rider and passenger. More sporting riders will also appreciate the Bitubo steering damper, fitted as standard. The V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa also features ergonomic controls and a new easy-to-read instrument cluster with elegant black numbering that is perfectly legible under all riding conditions.
