The Norton 952 COMMANDO was a Oil/ Air-cooled, Twin, 4-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Norton in 2005.

A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 952.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 320 Mm Disc With 4-piston Calipers in the front and a Single 230 Mm Disc With 2-piston Calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 Mm Conventional Ohlins while the rear was equipped with a Twin 4-way Adjustable Piggy Back Style Ohlins Shock. The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.

After a lot of attempts to resurrect the Norton motorcycle brand, Norton Motorsports is back in business. Even if it was on the road for nearly 100 years, Norton Motorcycles Limited company closed its doors in the late 1980s, but now it has introduced a new Norton Commando motorcycle, in order to evoke the first bike made in 1967.
