The bike has a 5-speed, return transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 21 x 7-10; Maxxis RAZR Radial front tire and a 20 x 10-10; Maxxis RAZR Radial rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual Hydraulic Disc with dual piston calipers in the front and a Hydraulic Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Dual A-arm with 10-inch travel while the rear was equipped with a Pro IRS with 10-inch (25.4 cm) travel. The Outlaw 525 IRS was fitted with a 0.79 Gallon (3.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 389.12 pounds (176.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.51 inches (1283 mm) long.
2007 Polaris Outlaw 525 S[edit | edit source]
The partnership between KTM and Polaris gave birth to a new Outlaw 525, featuring the KTM 525 engine used in Motocross and Enduro racing. The machine has 395 lbs and the fastest accelerating production ATV on the market. Outlaw 525 is available since spring 2007.
