The SWM RS500R was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by SWM between 2015 and 2016.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 9677.4mm bore x 67.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 500.8 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate type; mecanical control.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a kayba upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a kayba ´soft damp´ monoshock absorber with adjustment. The RS500R was fitted with a 1.9 Gallon (7.19 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 246.92 pounds (112.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.86 inches (1495 mm) long.
2015 SWM RS 500 R[edit | edit source]
The 2015 RS 500 R is a superbly well-balanced machine, with a wonderful power delivery, with ample levels of high torque on tap. The handling is taken care of by "KAYABA, a real riders machine that involves it's user whether off or on road. The very highest quality components are utilised in the construction of this motorcycle. Overall a superb package with high levels of specification, excellent build quality, and unbeatable value for money.
