It came with a 90/90x21 front tire and a 140/80x18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single hydraulic disc in the front and a SIngle hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Upside down telescopic hydraulic fork with advanced axle, rebound damping adjustament while the rear was equipped with a Progressive soft damp type with single hydraulic shock absorber, spring preload adjustament, compression and rebound damping adjustament. The RS 650 R was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 317.47 pounds (144.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.41 inches (1509 mm) long.
2015 SWM RS 650 R[edit | edit source]
The RS is heavily based on the old Husqvarna TE630. We happen to know a bit about that model Husky and we have a very high opinion of the bike. What gets us so excited about the SWM is that, if as it appears on paper this bike is essentially a refined TE630, it’ll mean there’s once again on the Australian market a 650cc single with a strong engine, good suspension, quality brakes, fuel injection and no electronics – except for the fuel injection.
2016 SWM RS 650 R[edit | edit source]
This SWM RS 650 R it is a enduro / offroad bike sold from 2016. It’s the first in the line-up of SWM machines coming to Australia, followed now by the SM 650 R supermoto, the RS 300 R and RS 500 R enduros and SM 500 R supermoto in April, the Silver Vase 440 scrambler and Gran Milano 440 roadster in May and the Super Dual 650 in August.
