The Sanglas 400 E was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Sanglas between 1975 and 1976. It could reach a top speed of 81 mph (130 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 24.41 HP (18.2 KW) @ 6250 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 82.5mm bore x 79.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 422.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

The bike has a 4-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The 400 E was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank.
