The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Hydraulic, diaphragm system.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via Hydraulically activated, floating 7.28 mm in the front and a Hydraulically activated, floating 5.71 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi 40 mm (1.57 in) hydraulic telescopic aluminum fork while the rear was equipped with a Progressive link system with single adjustable shock absorber. The wheelbase was 52.01 inches (1321 mm) long.

The 2017 SC 250 it is equipped with a new diaphragm spring clutch that provides unmatched progressiveness and a perfect feeling in spite of its small size. The new dual spark ignition is another notable upgrade providing improved combustion and more stable carburetion.
