A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 294.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Hydraulic, diaphragm system.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via Hydraulically activated, floating 7.28 mm in the front and a Hydraulically activated, floating 5.71 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi 40 mm (1.57 in) hydraulic telescopic aluminum fork, 165 mm (6.50 in) travel while the rear was equipped with a Progressive link system with single adjustable shock absorber, 175 mm (6.89 in) travel. The wheelbase was 52.01 inches (1321 mm) long.

The new dual spark ignition is another notable upgrade providing improved combustion and more stable carburetion. Whether used for trail riding or navigating the most difficult terrain, the 250 or 300 SC will prove to be a faithful ally.
