The Sherco 250 SEF-R RACING was a 4 stroke DOHC, 4 valve Sherco technology Enduro motorcycle produced by Sherco in 2017.

A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed sequential gearbox, primary gear drive chain secondary drive transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs in the front and a Single hydraulic disc in the rear. The front suspension was a WP hydraulic telescopic adjustable compression and rebound 48 mm diameter with 300 mm of stroke while the rear was equipped with a WP Monoshock progressive rear suspension with aluminum control rods, adjustable for high and low speed compression and spring pre-load. 330 mm (13 in) Racing shock.. The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.

Straight off the bat it’s clear Sherco have a different look for 2017. Both four-stroke and two-stroke models feature a distinctive new bodywork design. Strengthened and reinforced, the dual compound plastics feature in-mold graphics with Sherco’s mix of bright blue and day-glo yellow color scheme.
