The Sherco SX 2.5i -F was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Sherco in 2010.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 78.0mm bore x 52.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 1.60-21 front tire and a 2.15-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a ohlins telescopic fork, ø48 mm tubes rebound and compression adjustable while the rear was equipped with a ohlins progressive, multiadjustable rear shock utilizing a linkage and rod system. The SX 2.5i -F was fitted with a 1.98 Gallon (7.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 224.87 pounds (102.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.
