The Sherco 5.1 4T Supermotard was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Sherco between 2007 and 2008.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 510.4 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the hydraulic, multidisc in oil bath.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via single disc. bremo in the front and a single disc. bremo in the rear. The front suspension was a paioli/kayaba telescopic fork. forward offset wheel axle and brake caliper. travel 295 mm while the rear was equipped with a progressive system with single paioli absorber with aluminum structure and fully adjustable (four regulation types), linked to the centre of the chassis and pushed by the swing arm through an articulated rod system: travel: 295 mm. The 5.1 4T Supermotard was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 240.3 pounds (109.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.46 inches (1485 mm) long.
