The new Hodaka Wombat 125 is the realization of a new concept in on/off road motorcycles. Dirt riders have coined a word for so called Enduro bikes which are usually nothing more than low geared street bikes.

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

It came with a 3.00-21 front [[tire]] and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a  Telescopic Hodaka while the rear was equipped with a Hodaka shocks. The wheelbase was 52.99 inches (1346 mm) long.
