The BSA B50T was an attempt by BSA to create an [[Enduro|Enduro-styled]] motorcycle along the lines of a variety of Japanese bikes such as the [[Kawasaki]] and the overall appearance looked strikingly like a [[Honda SL175]]
The BSA B50T was an attempt by BSA to create an [[Enduro|Enduro-styled]] motorcycle along the lines of a variety of Japanese bikes such as the [[Kawasaki F5]] and the overall appearance looked strikingly like a [[Honda SL175]] only with the larger engine.
 
The B50T had satisfactory front fork travel, good fender clearance but the large vertical 500cc engine did not provide for enough ground clearance. It had a raised and tucked away [[exhaust system]], and cooled front drum brakes.
