The KX series has traditionally been [[Kawasaki]]'s top of the line racing [[motorcross]] [[dirtbike]].  Defined by being composed of single cylinder [[two-strokes]] similar to [[Honda]]'s [[:Category:Honda CR series|CR series]], [[Yamaha]]'s [[:Category:Yamaha YZ series|YZ series]], and [[Suzuki]]'s [[:Category:Suzuki RM series|RM series]].  However with the advent and dominance of [[four stroke]] dirtbikes it now shares the top of the line status with the four stroke cousins the KXF dirtbikes.
