The CBR900RR is a large displacement sportbike manufacturered by [[Honda]].  The CBR900RR was first introduced in 1993.  In the UK and non-US markets it is commonly known as the [[Fireblade]].  The lead engineer on the project at [[Honda]] was [[Tadeo Baba]].  In 1995 it was bumped up to 918cc and in 2000 it became the [[Honda CBR929RR|CBR929RR]].  Two years later it was bumped up again to become the [[Honda CBR954RR|CBR954RR]].  In 2004 it was replaced altogether with the [[Honda CBR1000RR|CBR1000RR]] which doesn't bear as much resemblance to it's predecessors.
