The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, OHC, 2 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 9.4:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 70/100-21 front tire and a 100/100-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 230 mm in the front and a Drum, 130 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Mono shock, oil damped, adjustable preload. The DR200 Djebel was fitted with a 13 Liters / 3.4 US gal / 2.9 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 113 kg / 249 lbs. The wheelbase was 1405 mm / 55.3 in long.
