The Suzuki GS650G Katana was a in-line four, four-stroke standard produced by Suzuki between 1981 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 122 mph (197 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 71.48 HP (53.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 62.0mm bore x 55.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 674.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.25-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The GS650G Katana was fitted with a 6.08 Gallon (23.00 Liters) fuel tank.
